The deliverable "E&T, Training Material" describes the ARTEMIS and MBAT motivation to produce training material for promotion of the results of the project and as contribution to the "ARTEMIS Sustainable Innovation Ecosystem". First plans and examples are provided. A second and final edition is planned at the end of the project.

This deliverable provides specifications of methods and tools for model-based test case generation and execution to be implemented in MBAT. Furthermore, it specifies the functionalities of the tool versions planned to be available at major project milestones which are in May 2013 (M2), May 2014 (M3), and at the end of the project in November 2014 (M4).
This deliverable provides descriptions of model-based analysis tool features to be developed and/or evaluated during the development of the MBAT RTP (Reference Technology Platform). Furthermore, it specifies the functionalities of the tool versions which are planned to be available at major project Milestones, which are in May 2013 (M2), May 2014 (M3), and at the end of the project in November 2014 (M4).

The objective of this deliverable is an overall methodology that will support effective application and combination of the MBAT techniques for model-based analysis, test case generation and test execution, with focus on:

• Workflow adaptation / optimization

• Management of complexity

• Exploitation of MBA & MBT synergies.

 

This document provides a specification of the overall model-based analysis and test methodology to be developed in MBAT, including a set of recommendations and guidelines for how to apply model-based analysis and testing, their combined use, and the principal process outline of how to integrate the new techniques and their application within the MBAT RTP into the V&V process. Two concrete examples from industrial use (avionics) and the first steps towards a MBAT A&T Pattern System are presented.

MBAT realized two workshops in co-operation with renowned events which are described in this public deliverable.

  • Special MBAT Session at MODELSWARD 2014: It took place in Lisbon, Portugal, 7-9 January, 2014.
  • Workshop at SAFECOMP 2014: At SafeComp ‘2014 the DECSoS Workshop(Dependable Embedded Cyber-physical Systems and Systems of Systems) took place in Florence on Sept. 9, 2014. MBAT organized it in collaboration with the ARTEMIS Projects EMC² and CRYSTAL. The papers of this workshop are published in Springer LNCS 8696.
This public deliverable represents the first version of the “Experience Package”; it provides a selected example of industrial experience, a first set of training material – with focus on OSLC, and provides an initial overview about a form for describing practical experience of combining (model-based) analysis and test, namely the principle of so-called “Analysis and Test Patterns” or A&T-patterns for short. The contents are based on preceding work documented in deliverables “E & T: Training Material” and “Overall A & T Methodology”, including new material on E&T (OSLC Tutorial: How to implement OSLC Consumers and Providers based on JAVA SDK OSLC) and the “Model-Based Testing (MBT)” pattern, the latter selected as an example for OSLC/RTP mapping.

The final edition of the “MBAT Experience Package” provides an overview of the public training material – with focus on OSLC , a selected example of industrial experience, and the MBAT Analysis & Test Pattern System, a major outcome of MBAT. The contents are based on preceding work documented in deliverables “E & T: Training Material” and “Overall A & T Methodology”, including new material on E&T and detailed descriptions of all available proven MBAT A&T Patterns.
